ENGLISH: “Just to put this straight for once…” / “… this is how a real sheep looks like!”/ “So? Who needs Realism?” – “Realis, Mimesis, Objectivity, does this exist?, reality-effects of representation, important for exams” – “Tourists.”
Okay, well, this came about because I thought, hey, if I do it this way, I don’t have to draw so much and I can use my excursion picture… The problem was, that if you do not regulary work with gimp, you forget certain techniques, which you have to learn again in an extremely boring try-and-error-procedure. Especially if you’re to stubborn to use the help forums. But do not hope Photoshop might be any easier! And I’m still dissatisfied, because I did not use the next two hours to find out how to put some single grass blades over the sheep’s feet. Still, pretty nice. Who need’s Realism after all?
